There’s something about Fruity Pebbles that feels like pure joy. Maybe it’s the rainbow colors, maybe it’s the crunch, or maybe it’s that they remind me of being a little girl—barefoot in the kitchen, fingers sticky with sugar, completely carefree.
These Fruity Pebble Krispy Treats are a soft, gooey celebration of those sweet memories. Bright, playful, and incredibly simple, they’re everything I want a dessert to be right now: comforting, low-pressure, and fun to share.
I’m learning to see desserts differently these days—not as something to control or earn, but as something to enjoy. And these treats? They feel like freedom in a pan.

Why You’ll Love These Treats
- Quick & No-Bake – Done in under 15 minutes.
- Only 3 Ingredients – Simple and satisfying.
- Colorful & Nostalgic – They feel like childhood in every bite.
- Perfect to Share – Great for lunchboxes, parties, or just brightening someone’s day.

The Ingredients
- 2 (10-ounce) bags mini marshmallows
- 8 cups fruity pebbles cereal (15 ounces)
- ½ cup butter
- ½ teaspoon vanilla

How to Make Fruity Pebble Krispy Treats
- Prep Your Pan: Line a 9×13-inch pan with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
- Melt Butter & Marshmallows: In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium-low heat. Stir in the marshmallows and keep stirring until everything is smooth and melty. Add vanilla if you’re using it.
- Fold in the Cereal: Remove the pot from heat. Add the Fruity Pebbles and gently fold them in until well coated. If you’re using the extra cup of mini marshmallows, fold them in here for little gooey bursts.
- Press Into Pan: Transfer the mixture into the prepared pan and press it down gently using a buttered spatula or parchment paper. (Don’t press too hard—you want these soft and chewy.)
- Let Set & Slice: Allow to cool at room temp for about an hour. Slice into squares and enjoy!

Tips
- Texture tip: Fold in extra mini marshmallows at the end for a dreamy, chewy bite.
- For a bakery-style touch: Add a white chocolate drizzle or a light sprinkle of flaky sea salt.
- Don’t press too firmly: It keeps the bars soft rather than dense.
